Erich Bénary
Erich Otto Max Bénary (born December 5, 1881 in Berlin , † November 30, 1941 in Riga ) was a German chemist. He was murdered as a victim of the Holocaust .
Benary studied chemistry and received his doctorate in 1906 with a thesis on the effects of light and heat on dibenzalpropionic acid and some fulgides at the University of Leipzig .
Are named after him Benary reaction and the first by Franz Feist described Feist-Benary reaction .
