Erich Flottmann

Erich Flottmann (born May 12, 1895 in Hagen ; † April 13, 1945 in Herborn ) was a German administrative lawyer .

Life

After passing the state examination in law at the University of Greifswald and subsequent legal traineeship, Flottmann served as a district court advisor from 1922 to 1930. From 1930 to 1933 he was a city ​​councilor in Hamm . In 1933 he was initially appointed as a substitute and from May 1934 to July 1935 then finally appointed district administrator in the Lippstadt district and then headed the NSDAP regional government office from 1935 to 1936 .

From 1935 to 1939 he served under Josef Wagner as Vice President of the Upper Presidium of the Province of Silesia in Breslau . At the same time he was Wagner's deputy from 1936 to 1939, in his function as Reich Commissioner for Pricing.

In 1939 he moved to the post of ministerial director in charge of the four-year plan, and from 1941 to 1945 he was managing director of the Reich Coal Association . Flottmann was a member of the Center in the Weimar Republic and, since 1933, of the NSDAP.
