Erich Fuchs (born May 23, 1894 in Insterburg , † April 9, 1945 in Königsberg ) was a German politician ( NSDAP ).

Live and act

After attending the boys' secondary school in Insterburg, Erich Fuchs embarked on a commercial career in 1915. From 1915 to 1918 he took part in the First World War with Grenadier Regiment No. 3, Königsberg, and the 1st Machine Gun Regiment . He then lived from 1919 to 1934 as a self-employed businessman in Königsberg.

In 1925, Fuchs joined the NSDAP ( membership number 7,086). In the years 1929 to 1930 he took over his first public office as city councilor. On August 1, 1934, Fuchs was appointed Gauamtsleiter of the Main Office for People's Welfare in East Prussia and remained in this position until the end of December 1938.

In February 1935, Fuchs joined the National Socialist Reichstag as a member of the National Socialist Reichstag as a member of the electoral district 1 (East Prussia) until the end of the Nazi regime in the spring of 1945 as a replacement for the late MP Waldemar Weißel . In addition, he was a member of the Prussian Council of State , in 1933 a member of the East Prussian Provincial Parliament and since 1935 a member of the Provincial Council of East Prussia.
