Waldemar Weißel (born February 18, 1897 in Hogendorf , Braunsberg district , † November 2, 1964 in Peine ) was a German politician ( NSDAP ).

After attending the boys' middle school in Insterburg , Weißel entered the NCO School in Ettlingen on April 1, 1914 . From 1914 to 1918 he took part in the First World War with the 11/114 infantry regiment , in which he was awarded the Iron Cross of both classes, the Wound Badge and the Baden Silver Merit Medal. A serious wound at Passendale resulted in Weissel's left thigh being amputated. In 1919 he joined the Reichsbahn .

In 1922 Weißel became a member of the NSDAP. In April 1932 he was elected for this in the Prussian state parliament, after he had been city ​​councilor and leader of the NS faction in the city council of Insterburg since 1928 . On February 19, 1933, he was appointed regional chairman of the Ostland regional association ( East Prussia , Danzig and Pomerania) for Nazi war victims' care.

From November 1933 to February 26, 1935, Weißel was a member of the National Socialist Reichstag for constituency 1 (East Prussia). His mandate was then taken over by Erich Fuchs .
