Erich Hiltl

Erich Hiltl (born August 19, 1932 in Kümmersbruck ) is a German choir director.

Life

After visiting the elementary school Teublitz and graduating from the Erasmus-Gymnasium Amberg Hiltl entered the administrative service of the city Amberg and was full-time recently as Regierungsamtsrat the district office Amberg-Sulzbach operates.

Erich Hiltl also devoted himself to choral music. From 1957 to summer 1999 he directed the Kümmersbrucker choir, was also the group choir leader of the Amberg singing group from 1966 and supervised almost 20 choirs in the Amberg region, with which he organized a large number of events in and outside of the Upper Palatinate . He was director of the choir of the Northern Upper Palatinate Singers ' Circle, member of the Presidium of the Franconian Singers' Association and longstanding advisory board member as well as temporarily vice-president of the Upper Palatinate Cultural Association .
