Eduard Täger (also: Eduard Taeger ; * in the 19th century in Hanover ; † in the 20th century ) was a German sculptor .

Life

Eduard Täger was the son of the sculptor Ludwig Täger .

On November 2, 1863, Täger enrolled in Munich at the Academy of Fine Arts there, specializing in sculpture.

At a young age, Täger created the grave monument carved in sandstone for the Royal Hanoverian court conductor Carl Ludwig Fischer at the Engesohde city cemetery .

At the beginning of the 20th century, Taeger was a member of the board of directors or the hanging commission of the Kunstverein Hannover in 1903 and participated in the opening of the 71st exhibition of the association in 1903.
