Karl Heinrich Wilhelm Louis Rosenbusch ( pseudonym : R. Hartmann ; born August 22, 1840 in Sankt Andreasberg ; † March 13, 1895 in Hanover ) was a German teacher and writer .

Life

Rosenbusch acquired the citizenship of the city of Hanover on May 5, 1882 and then became the main teacher at the Citizens' School XIV in Schaufelder Strasse .

Under the pseudonym R. Hartmann , Rosenbusch wrote, according to the address book of the city of Hanover from 1955, "the first significant city ​​history of Hanover". Allegedly Rosenbusch chose his pseudonym "because he did not agree with the text changes forced by his publisher Ernst Kniep ."

Honors

  • The rose bush walk laid out in the Hanoverian district of Waldheim in 1954 honors the writer by giving it its name.
