Erich Hofmann (politician)
Erich Hofmann (born April 20, 1901 in Weißenfels , † January 21, 1984 in Thalheim ) was a German politician ( NSDAP ).
Live and act
After attending the seminar school, Hofmann learned the hairdressing trade . In addition, he attended a training school. He then worked in this profession until 1935. From 1935 Hofmann worked as a full-time leader in the SA , to which he, like the NSDAP, belonged from 1928. He reached the high point of his SA career when he was promoted to SA Brigadefuhrer on July 1, 1940.
In October 1934 Hofmann took over the leadership of SA Standard 107 (Leipzig). From May 1937 he then led SA Brigade 34 (Chemnitz). From March 1936 until the end of the Nazi regime in spring 1945, he sat as a member of the National Socialist Reichstag for constituency 30 (Chemnitz-Zwickau) . Hofmann took part in World War II as a soldier .
