Erich Kochermann
Erich Köchermann (born May 21, 1904 in Dommitzsch ; † July 21, 1964 in Hamburg ) was a German long jumper who was active around 1930. Erich Köchermann was 1.70 m tall and weighed 64 kg. He started for SC Victoria Hamburg .

Köchermann took part in two Olympic Games:
- In 1928 in Amsterdam he was accompanied by three other German long jumpers - Rudolf Dobermann , Willi Meier and Helmut Schlöske . With a jump over 7.35 m, he came in fifth place as the second best German participant behind Meier, who jumped 7.39 m (the American Ed Hamm won with 7.73 m).
- In 1932 in Los Angeles he was the only German long jumper at the start. However, things did not go well for him: With a weak 5.75 m he came in eleventh place out of twelve participants (the winner, the American Ed Gordon , jumped 7.64 m).
On September 16, 1928, Köchermann in Hamburg set the German and European record set by Rudolf Dobermann on June 10, 1928 with a width of 7.64 meters . Only five years later on August 12, 1933, Luz Long surpassed these bests with a width of 7.65 meters. (European records between 1901 and 1936 not ratified.)
