Erich Kabesch

Erich Kabesch (born April 18, 1905 in Vienna ; † February 6, 1992 ibid) was an Austrian politician ( ÖVP ) and trade union secretary. From 1966 to 1970 he was a member of the Austrian National Council .

After primary school, Kabesch attended a secondary school and then graduated from a commercial school. He then worked as a trade union secretary and was active as a board member of the Central Association of Christian Employees until 1934. After the end of the Second World War , Kabesch became Vice President of the Chamber for Workers and Salaried Employees Vienna, and he also held the office of Vice President of the International Federation of Christian Employees' Associations. He represented the ÖVP between 1959 and 1966 as a member of the Vienna State Parliament and City Council and then moved to the Austrian National Council between March 30, 1966 and March 31, 1970. His grave is at the Baumgartner Friedhof (group K1, number 414).
