Erich Puch
Erich Puch (born March 18, 1912 , † May 1956 ) was a German marathon runner .
In 1938 he was second at the German Championships in 2:39:03 h and fifth at the European Athletics Championships in Paris in 2:45:09 h.
In 1940 he became German marathon champion in 2:35:04 h . At the German Championships in 1941 he was third with his personal best of 2:35:00 h.
Erich Puch started for VfL Potsdamer Sportfreunde until 1940 and for SG Posen in 1941. He had a fatal accident on a train ride from Frankfurt am Main to Lindau .
