The 43rd German Athletics Championships were held on July 19 and 20, 1941 in the Berlin Olympic Stadium . Sports events were held in Germany in the first years of the Second World War as unrestricted as possible, including this German Athletics Championships in 1941.

Some competitions did not take place as part of this event:

More battles (women: Pentathlon / men: five and decathlon ) - Erfurt , 5 and 6 July
Marathon run (individual and team evaluation ) / 10,000 m track walking (individual evaluation) and
50 km walk (individual / team evaluation) - Berlin , 24 August

Of course, the accompanying circumstances in this second summer of the war were shaped by the events of the Second World War , even if by no means as restrictive as in the years that followed. Intensive work was carried out in Germany on the “ final solution to the Jewish question ”, accompanied by far-reaching crimes against the Jewish people . The great powers USA and Great Britain began to jointly offer resistance against the German Reich .
