Rudolf Glötzner

Rudolf Glötzner (born February 1, 1917 - † February 25, 2010 ) was a German decathlete and pole vaulter .

Live and act

In 1938 he was fifth in the decathlon at the European Athletics Championships in Paris , and in 1939 he won the pole vault at the World Student Games.

He was German champion four times in the pole vault ( 1940 , 1941 , 1942 , 1948 ) and once each in the decathlon (1940) and in the pentathlon (1940).

Rudolf Glötzner started for the Turnerbund Weiden. Until 1954 he was senior physician at the Weiden hospital at the time, after which he practiced as a gynecologist .
