Erwin Wegner

Erwin Wegner (born April 5, 1909 in Stettin , † February 6, 1945 in Saargemünd ) was a German athlete and Olympic participant who was successful in the 110-meter hurdles in the 1930s . At the European Championships in 1934 he won the silver medal (14.9 s).

At the Olympic Games in 1932 he gave up in the interim, at the Olympic Games in 1936 he was eliminated.

He competed in the 1932 Olympic Games in the decathlon and finished ninth (7,179.930 points).

Erwin Wegner belonged to the TSV Schöneberg Berlin club . During his competition time he was 1.91 m tall and 80 kg.
