The 10th German Athletics Championships took place on August 18, 1907 in Breslau . Exceptions were the 100 km street walking - May 12th in Frankfurt am Main - and the 40 km marathon on May 20th in Berlin . However, the marathon was not officially part of the championship competitions until 1924, but was carried out independently as the "German Marathon".

There were no changes in the competition program compared to the previous year. As in the previous year, the most successful athlete was Vincenz Duncker with three championship titles.
