- ↑ a b Otto Kohn's winning time would be a new German record according to the sources rekorde-im-sport.de and Leichtathletik.de mentioned several times in the contributions to the German Athletics Championships. However, the performance on rekorde-im-sport.de is named for August 21, 1927 in Paris ( rekorde-im-sport.de ), on Leichtathletik.de, on the other hand, it is not listed at all, although it actually belonged there due to the records listed ( athletics .de PDF). In the literature by Fritz Steinmetz mentioned here and also in other sources, Otto Kohn is listed as a German master at this time, which was the 21.8. and makes Paris seem unlikely as a record date and location.
