Use Drieling

Ilse Drieling (born April 29, 1909 ; † unknown) was a German athlete who was active in the 1920s.

In 1927 she was a member of a 4-by-100-meter relay that included Anneliese Jacket as the starting runner, Lieselotte Hellmann and twin sister Rose Drieling on August 7th in Breslau in exactly 50 seconds the year before Lilli Henoch , Charlotte Köhler , Gerda Pöting and Cläre Voss set the German record in Cologne improved by four tenths. This time was noted as a world record by the FSFI . It lasted almost a year before Rosa Kellner , Luise Holzer , Agathe Karrer and Lisa Gelius stayed under 50 seconds for the first time (49.8 s).

Ilse Drieling also made it into the top 25 of the world's best list three times, namely in 1926 over 100 meters (12.9 s / 25th place) and in 1927 and 1928 over 200 meters (27.6 s / 21st place and 26.9 s / 17th place).

She started in 1932 in the pentathlon for the women's SC Magdeburg.
