Clare Voss

Cläre Voss was a German athlete who started for the Berlin sports club in the 1920s .

Between 1921 and 1927 she was able to achieve several podium places at German championships. With the season of the Berliner SC she was champion in 1924, 1925 and 1926 and third in 1921, 1922, 1923 and 1927. She got two more third places in the three-way battle in 1925 and 1927.

Together with her teammates Lilli Henoch , Charlotte Köhler and Gerda Pöting , she ran 50.3 seconds over 4 x 100 meters in Cologne on July 11, 1926 . This time was recognized by the FSFI as a world record.

It also made it into the top 25 of the world's best list twice, namely in 1926 (12.9 s, 25th place) and 1927 (12.6 s, 11th place).
