Anneliese jacket (born September 2, 1908 in Magdeburg , † June 27, 1993 ) was a German athlete who was successful as a multi-fighter and shot putter in the 1920s . She started for Viktoria 96 Magdeburg .

Services

Anneliese Jacket won the runner-up in the pentathlon in 1928 behind Selma Grieme , after she had won the German championship title in the three-way battle the previous year. In the shot put she was runner-up behind Lilli Henoch in 1925 and third behind Grete Heublein and Lilli Henoch in 1926 .

In 1927 she was a member of a 4 x 100 meter relay, which on August 7th in Wroclaw in exactly 50 seconds the German record set a year earlier by Lilli Henoch, Charlotte Köhler , Gerda Pöting and Cläre Voss in Cologne four tenths of a second better (cast: jacket as the starting runner, Lieselotte Hellmann and the twins Rose and Ilse Drieling ). This achievement was noted as a world record by the FSFI . It lasted almost a year before Rosa Kellner , Luise Holzer , Agathe Karrer and Lisa Gelius stayed under 50 seconds for the first time (49.8 s).

Her best performances are given:

  • Long jump : 4.81 m, achieved on June 24, 1923 in Magdeburg
  • Shot put : 10.73 m, achieved on September 16, 1928 there (this distance meant only 16th place in the world rankings)
  • Discus throw : 33.42 m, scored on July 31, 1927 there

In the shot put, she made it into the top ten of the world rankings three times:

  • 1923: 5th place (9.12 m)
  • 1926: 9th place (9.97 m)
  • 1927: 9th place (10.63 m)

At the 1928 Olympics in Amsterdam , where athletics competitions were held for women for the first time, they have not yet participated, as neither all-around shot put on the agenda were.
