Milly Reuter

Emilie ("Milly") Reuter (born October 1, 1904 in Rödelheim ; † April 30, 1976 in Frankfurt am Main ) was a German athlete and Olympic participant who was a successful discus thrower in the 1920s . In 1925, 1926 and 1928 she was German champion in discus throwing, in 1933 vice champion, in 1927 and 1931 she reached third place. In 1925 and 1926 she set four world records . At the Olympic Games in 1928 , she finished fourth (35.86 m). Although she came from the field of athletics, she did it on the side in the late 1920s, because she was one of the first women to play golf competitively (and successfully).
