Hermann Hänchen (born January 26, 1898 in Zeipau , today Iłowa , Poland , † unknown) was a German discus thrower .

At the Olympic Games in Amsterdam in 1928 he was eliminated from the qualification.

He set his personal best of 45.72 m on June 24, 1928 in Breslau . In 1925 and 1927 he was German champion . Four times ( 1924 , 1925, 1926 , 1927) he was German champion in the two-armed discus throw.

Hermann Hänchen started for the police SV Berlin .
