Erich Rauschenbach

Erich Rauschenbach (born May 21, 1944 in Lichtenstein ) is a German cartoonist .

After a bank apprenticeship, tour guide activity and incomplete studies at the University of Education in Berlin, Rauschenbach studied graphic design at the HdK Berlin from 1969 to 1973 .

Since then he has worked as a freelance cartoonist and illustrator for publishers, newspapers, magazines and television. So far over 50 books of his cartoons have appeared .

From 1994 onwards a series of more than 50 acrylic paintings ("All my girls") was created. a. in Berlin ( Lindencorso ), Kassel ( Caricatura ), Greiz ( Summer Palace ) and in the Wilhelm-Busch-Museum in Hanover (July - September 2005).

Rauschenbach lives in Berlin .
