Erich Rudzki

Erich Rudzki (born December 16, 1891 in Neisse ) was a German SA leader, most recently with the rank of SA brigade leader . Among other things, he was staff leader of the SA Upper Group VI in Hanover.

Live and act

Rudzki signed up on August 24, 1914 as a war volunteer to participate in the First World War with the 59th Field Artillery Regiment . During the war he was promoted to lieutenant of the reserve on February 24, 1916 and assigned to the staff of the 273 field artillery regiment as an orderly officer on January 18, 1917 . After the end of the war he left the army on August 16, 1919.

During the Weimar Republic , Rudzki was a member of the DNVP from 1928 and of the Stahlhelm since 1930 . On May 1, 1931, he switched to the NSDAP ( membership number 540.163). A few months later, on December 27, 1931, he also joined the SA. In this he belonged to the storm 1/73 in Hanover .

From February 20 to April 13, 1932 Rudzki was a military teacher in the SA school in Kreisenen. In the period from January 30, 1934 to August 30, 1934 he was the staff leader of the SA-Obergruppe VI (Hanover) led by Viktor Lutze . A few months after Lutze's appointment as Chief of Staff of the SA, Rudzki was assigned to the staff of the Supreme SA Leadership on September 1, 1934 .

After serving as department head of the Northwest Relief Organization from October 1, 1935, Rudzki was transferred from the Danube group to the Pomeranian group on January 1, 1939. He reached his highest rank in the SA when he was appointed SA Brigadefuhrer on July 1, 1940.

During the Second World War he was the leader of Group 12 of the Reich Air Protection Association .
