Erich Schariry (* 1892 in Tuttlingen ; † 1974 ) was a Württemberg politician and administrative officer. From March 1946 to February 1947 he was District Administrator of the Tuttlingen district .

Schariry completed a management training and worked from 1943 to 1944 as a Councilor in the Württemberg Ministry of Economics in Stuttgart . He then worked as head of the economic department of the Tuttlingen district. From May 1945 to March 1946 Schariry was deputy of the Tuttlingen District Administrator Eduard Quintenz . After his dismissal, the French military rulers appointed Shariry district administrator. In February 1947, Schariry was unable to work due to a serious accident and had to give up his position. His successor was the SPD politician and later chairman of the SPD parliamentary group Fritz Erler .

The district commissioner of the French military government, Jean Lucien Estrade, characterized in his monthly reports District Administrator Shariry as a "sickly, fearful, hesitant man". He, according to Estrade, "certainly has a good will and is receptive to the reproaches that are made to him because of the poor work of some of his departments, but will never make a decision on his own initiative or impose a sanction."

Schariry was a member of the AV Igel Tübingen student association from 1910 to 1974 .
