Erich Später (* 1959 ) is a German historian and journalist .

Career and activity

Erich later completed an apprenticeship as a bookseller and then studied German and history in Berlin and Saarbrücken.

Later works for the Heinrich-Böll-Stiftung Saar e. V. and writes articles for the journal Konkret . He writes articles and books on the history of the German minorities in Europe and their participation in the Nazi war and extermination policy. The crimes of the Germans in occupied Czechoslovakia are his specialty. He also researches the politics and past of the German expellee associations .
