Erich Tadler

Erich Tadler (born July 23, 1958 in Dietmannsdorf near Trieben ) is an Austrian politician ( Team Stronach , formerly BZÖ , FPÖ ) and insurance salesman. Tadler was a member of the Austrian National Council from 2008 to 2013 .

Life

Tadler attended elementary school in Trieben from 1964 to 1968 and from 1968 the local secondary school, in 1969 he switched to the general secondary school in Seckau , which he graduated with the Matura in 1978. Tadler then studied law at the University of Salzburg until 1983 and passed the first state examination. In 1980 he had already done his military service.

Tadler worked in his parents' business, an agricultural and restaurant business, and had various freelance activities at home and abroad. Between 1990 and 1994 he was employed by the FPÖ Salzburg and has been an insurance employee at Generali since 1994.

Between 2001 and 2004, Tadler was a member of the Salzburg municipal council as well as FPÖ district manager and FPÖ regional manager. He also acted as a councilor of the chamber for workers and employees for Salzburg and a member of the board of the chamber for workers and employees for Salzburg. Tadler was initially a member of the FPÖ, but switched to the BZÖ in the course of the split in the FPÖ, although he never became a member of the BZÖ. Tadler was presented by the BZÖ-Salzburg in August 2008 as a free and independent top candidate for the 2008 National Council election and is also to run for the 2009 state election. Tadler was sworn in as a member of the National Council on October 28, 2008 and took on the role of area spokesman for buildings, petitions and citizens' initiatives within the BZÖ parliamentary club.

In January 2010 he was expelled from the parliamentary club of the BZÖ. Party leader Josef Bucher justified this with the fact that Tadler had tied his stay in the BZÖ club, which had already lost several MPs due to the split of the Carinthian BZÖ MPs in the FPK , with financial conditions.

In August 2012, Tadler joined the Stronach team, which was currently in the process of founding .

Incident in Poland

Erich Tadler was briefly arrested on June 9, 2012 in Warsaw, where the European Football Championship was taking place at the time. Together with another Austrian citizen, he is said to have smeared the lion statue in front of the President's Palace with the colors of the German national flag. According to his own statement, however, he only wanted to remove the paint applied by other people.
