Erik Bukowski

Erik Bukowski (born November 18, 1986 in Berlin ) is a German water polo player . He is the son of two-time Olympian Piotr Bukowski .

Erik Bukowski has been part of the first team of the German first division water polo club Waspo 98 Hannover since 2013 . Until then he played for the Berlin record champions Wasserfreunde Spandau 04 . From 2004 to 2013 he won the German championship title seven times and the German Cup eight times. He played 48 international matches for the German national water polo team (as of July 12, 2008). International highlights were the 1986 European Championship , the 2010 European Championship and the 2011 World Championship . In the DWL 2009/2010 season, Bukowski was voted “Player of the Year”.

Bukowski is 1.86 m tall and is a right wing player. He studied industrial engineering at the TU Berlin .
