Erik Faulhaber (* 1966 in Heidelberg ) is a German designer and typographer .

Faulhaber developed a special relationship with writing in his youth . He later designed and tailored clothes and bags. Activities as a photographer (exhibitions in Karlsruhe, Frankfurt a. M. and Paris), painter and logo designer followed . During his graphic design studies at the HfG in Karlsruhe with Gunter Rambow and Kurt Weidemann , which he graduated with honors, he worked as a freelancer at Linotype (mentor: Adrian Frutiger ). He has been working as a freelance designer since 1996. He was given teaching assignments in the areas of writing and design at universities in Halle, Weimar and Wuppertal.
