Erik Grendel (born October 13, 1988 in Handlová ) is a Slovak football player . The midfielder has been under contract with Spartak Trnava since 2018 .

Club career

Grendel played for MFK Dubnica in his youth . There he also made the leap to the senior team, where he played until 2009. In September 2009 he moved to ŠK Slovan Bratislava, with whom he became Slovak champion and won the national cup competition twice. From 2015 to 2018 he played for Górnik Zabrze in Poland and then moved on to Spartak Trnava in the domestic Fortuna league .

National team

Grendel played regularly for the Slovak U-19 as well as the U-21 national team .
