Erik Lindberg
Johann Erik Lindberg (born December 31, 1873 in Stockholm ; † August 28, 1966 ) was a Swedish sculptor , medalist and engraver .
Life
Erik Lindberg was born in Stockholm in 1873 and learned from his father Adolf Lindberg signature: LM from 1892 to 1899 and sculpture at the Stockholm Art Academy from 1893 to 1897 . After stays in France and Italy, he settled in Sweden as a sculptor and medalist, and from 1920 he was a member of the art academy. From 1916 to 1944 he worked as an engraver for the Stockholm Mint. Lindberg died in 1966.
