Erika Wimmer Mazohl

Erika Wimmer Mazohl (born August 7, 1957 in Bozen ) is an Austrian writer and author of essayistic-documentary works.

Life

Erika Wimmer Mazohl was born and raised in Bolzano as the daughter of journalist and author Niklaus Mazohl. She lives and works as a freelance author and literary scholar in Innsbruck. In addition to essays on literature, she has published her own literary publications in prose , radio play , drama and poetry . From 1992 she was a research assistant at the Brenner Archive Research Institute at the University of Innsbruck , and from 1997 to 2003 head of the Literaturhaus am Inn in Innsbruck.

She is co-editor of the works of Norbert Conrad Kaser and Johannes E. Trojer ; Book publication about the cultural journalist and documentary filmmaker Krista Hauser , about the culture magazine Arunda (together with Christine Riccabona) and about the Austrian Youth Culture Weeks in Innsbruck (together with Milena Meller and Christine Riccabona). Long stays in Italy, France and India.

Erika Wimmer Mazohl is a member of the Graz Authors ' Assembly (GAV), the Literar Mechana and the SAAV - South Tyrolean Authors' Association.

Publications were made in anthologies, magazines and on Austrian radio.
