Krista Hauser

Krista Hauser , also Krista Nowak-Hauser, (born October 9, 1941 in Innsbruck ) is an Austrian journalist , author and documentary filmmaker . After studying German and history, she soon spent most of her professional career with the Austrian broadcasting company for the Tyrolean daily newspaper . With this she made a name for herself over the years as a program designer and documentary filmmaker. One focus of her journalistic work was reporting on Tyrolean culture.

She made films about Erich Fried , Egon Schiele and the architect Margarete Schütte-Lihotzky

Krista Hauser's archives are kept by the Brenner Archive Research Institute at the University of Innsbruck . She is also a lecturer for "Literature Mediation in Print and Audiovisual Media".

Hauser is the mother of the journalist Rainer Nowak . Her son's father is the daily newspaper journalist Josef A. Nowak .
