Quotes

  • “I have spoken German for 46 years, have a German passport, a German woman, German children, and I have paid many millions in taxes. And now I've accomplished the hardest of all - founding a university in Germany. What else do I have to do until I'm just a German who happens to be from Turkey? I am not a migrant, I have no migration background, I am a German of Turkish descent! That is Germany too. We are Germany too. "
  • "While gifted migrant children fail in the German system, the government is trying to solve the educational problem through imports."
