Ernest Sutherland
Ernest Sutherland ( Ernest George "Buz" Sutherland; born April 26, 1894 in Palmerston North ; † July 8, 1936 ibid.) Was a New Zealand - South African decathlete and javelin thrower .
Starting for South Africa, he finished fifth in the decathlon at the 1924 Olympic Games in Paris with his personal best of 6794.145 points.
In 1924 he became the English javelin throwing champion.
