Ernest Troost
Ernest Victor Troost III. (Born June 19, 1953 ) is an American composer and musician .
Life
Ernest Victor Troost III. is the son of Philomena Coppola and Ernest V. Troost Junior. He has two siblings. He studied jazz guitar and classical music at Berklee College of Music . From the early 1980s he began composing for short films, before making his debut as a composer for feature films in 1987 with music for films such as Boone , The Munchies and Merry Christmas II . In total, he was nominated five times for an Emmy , in 1996 he was awarded for best film music for his work on The Canterville Ghost .
