criticism
“The family melodrama, which tries to create an atmospheric setting, tells the well-known story of the prodigal son in a very soulful, often sentimental tone and in a homely staging style. Entertaining or believable only in a few scenes. "
The German Film and Media Evaluation FBW in Wiesbaden awarded the film the title valuable.
