The Douze (also: Doulouze ) is a river in France that runs in the regions of Occitania and Nouvelle-Aquitaine . It rises in the municipality of Gazax-et-Baccarisse and drains initially in a north-westerly and later in a south-westerly direction through the historic province of Armagnac . After 124 kilometers, it joins the Midou River in the urban area of Mont-de-Marsan to form the Midouze River . On her way she crosses the Gers and Landes departments .
