The Estampon is a river in France that runs mainly in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region . It rises in Gabardan , a landscape in the historical province of Armagnac , in the municipality of Parleboscq . The Estampon drains an abundance of small watercourses in its upper course under the name Grand Canal du Marais , initially flowing in a north-westerly direction, then turning to west and south-west and after a total of around 52 kilometers flows into Roquefort as a right tributary into the Douze . On its way, the Estampon crosses the Landes department and briefly touches the neighboring Gers department in the Occitania region .
