Ernestina Akuetteh

Ernestina Akuetteh († between 2005 and 2019) was a Ghanaian table tennis player .

Career

At the African Championships in 1964 and 1968 , Akuetteh won the gold medal alongside her compatriot Ethel Jacks . In addition, the Ghanaian won the 1968 West African Championship in women's doubles with Jacks and was vice-African champion five times in singles (1964), doubles (1962) and with the women’s team (1962, 1964, 1968). In her three-time World Cup participation (1961, 1965, 1967) she did not achieve any notable success.

In December 1997 Akuetteh finished fourth at the Ghanaian national championship for over 40-year-olds.
