Ernesto Peternolli

Ernesto Peternolli (born November 7, 1904 in Tanta , † May 16, 1981 in Bologna ) was an Italian Romanist and Italianist who worked mainly in the Netherlands.

life and work

Peternolli received his doctorate in law in Milan in 1928 . He was a lecturer at the University of Pécs from 1931 to 1934 , and from 1935 to 1938 at the University of Turku . At the University of Groningen he was a lecturer (lecturer) from 1953 to 1965, endowed professor from 1966 to 1970 and professor of Italian from 1970 to 1976. In 1979 he moved to Bologna.
