Ernst Andreas Friedrich

Ernst Andreas Friedrich (born August 23, 1924 in Asch , Czechoslovakia ; † May 18, 2013 in Göttingen ) was a German author and long-time press spokesman for the Lower Saxony Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Forests in Hanover .

Life

After his return from military service in World War II , Friedrich studied economics at the University of Heidelberg from 1946 , where he passed the diploma exam and obtained his doctorate. He then learned the journalist profession, which he practiced for 13 years in Heidelberg, Mannheim and Hanover. As an agricultural journalist in Hanover, he edited the magazine “Overview” of the Landbuch-Verlag, which drew attention to special articles in numerous agricultural journals.

From 1963 to 1990 Friedrich was press officer in the Lower Saxony Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Forests . In addition to his job, he worked as a book author. The focus of his literary work was local history in the state of Lower Saxony from the fields of geology , botany and history.
