Ernst Ankermann
Ernst Ankermann (born October 13, 1928 ) is a German lawyer and judge at the Federal Court of Justice .
Career
During his studies he was active in the Göttingen Wingolf . From December 19, 1974 to December 31, 1990 he was a judge at the Federal Court of Justice .
Work and works
Ankermann worked on a commentary on the code of civil procedure and the collection of medical liability case law. In 2004 his book Allowing To Die - Self-Determination and Medical Help at the End of Life was published , in which he deals, among other things, with the subjects of non-treatment and discontinuation of treatment, resuscitation, vegetative state, dementia, brain death and living wills.
