Ernst Beranek
Ernst W. Beranek (born October 6, 1934 ) is an Austrian designer .
Beranek studied at the University of Applied Arts Vienna in 1957–62 in the master class for architecture with Oswald Haerdtl and industrial design with Franz Hoffmann .
From 1963 he worked as a freelance designer in Vienna. From 1974 to 2008 he and Harry Kubelka had the joint company ID POOL Beranek and Kubelka .
Beranek also worked as a teacher for industrial design and handicrafts and was involved in numerous research projects, such as the design of school furniture, school bags and aids for seniors. As for the little pacifier , it turned out that Beranek had been working as a designer since the 1960s and, among other things , developed a pacifier for premature babies with the company MAM Babyartikel .

- 1987 with Harry Kubelka, Windhager central heating: State award design for multi-storey boilers for solid fuels
