Ernst Bethlenfalvy

Ernst Bethlenfalvy (also: Ernest, Ernő ) (born February 21, 1880 in Kežmarok , † June 18, 1955 in Hunfalva ) was a Hungarian landowner, zoologist and naturalist.

He published his observations and research on wild animals in the Tatras in German, Hungarian and Slovak in the magazines Vadászlap (1932–37), Karphaten-Post (1933/34), Die Karpathen (1934), Lovech (1936–37), News Szepesi (1936), Aquila (1950) and Sylvia (1953). In 1937 The Animal World of the High Tatras was published. Animal biological studies from the wild (Publisher: Spišske Podhradie; Kirchdrauf, Zips).

His son, Joseph Bethlenfalvy (* 1906), became an architect, mountaineer and photographer of the High Tatras.
