Huncovce (German Hunsdorf , Hungarian: Hunfalva - until 1902 Hunfalu ) is a municipality in Slovakia . It is located in the Oberzips , eight kilometers northeast of Poprad on the road to Kežmarok . The place is located in Okres Kežmarok .
history
A first settlement from the Latène period belonged to the Púchov culture . The village was first mentioned in a document in 1257 as villa Supch .
The church, built in the 12th century in Romanesque style, was rebuilt in the 14th and 15th centuries in the Gothic style. From the 18th century until the First World War there was a rabbi school.
