Slovenská Ves (German Windischendorf , Hungarian Szepestótfalu - until 1907 Tótfalu ) is a municipality in the north of Slovakia with 1875 inhabitants (December 31, 2019). It belongs to the Okres Kežmarok , a part of the Prešovský kraj .
geography
The municipality is located in the eastern part of the Podtatranská kotlina basin , more precisely in the lower part of Popradská kotlina by the Biela brook . It lies in the shadow of the Spis Magura Mountains in the north and the Tatra Mountains (more precisely Bela Tatras ) in the west. The center of the village is at an altitude of 650 m nm and is 12 kilometers from Kežmarok .
