Ernst Brunner (musician)

Ernst Brunner (born November 30, 1929 - † May 1, 2015 ) was a Swiss clarinet and saxophone player from Küsnacht in the canton of Zurich .

Life

Maja and Carlo Brunner's father was a machine mechanic by profession and directed the “Seebuebe” country band , named after Lake Zurich . They played in the concert style of Central Switzerland with a clarinet or saxophone / accordion / piano / bass violin . He also gave music lessons, and his son Carlo was among his students. He played as the second clarinetist in the Seebuebe band and shortly afterwards founded the Carlo Brunner Ländlerkapelle.

Ernst Brunner was a member of the Harmonie Küsnacht and directed the boys' music.
