Ernst Franz Ludwig of Gemmingen

Ernst Franz Ludwig von Gemmingen (born March 3, 1795 in Babstadt ; † August 16, 1834 ) was the landlord in Babstadt.

Life

He was a son of Ludwig Friedrich von Gemmingen (1765-1816) and Caroline von Pren († 1807). He attended the Lyceum in Mannheim , then entered service in Baden and was a lieutenant in the 2nd Dragoon Regiment. He was awarded the Baden Military Merit Order. After his father's death in 1816, he left military service, married and devoted himself to the administration of his property. He was buried in the Babstadt cemetery, where his tomb has been preserved.

family

In 1819 he married Sophie Dorothea Luise Christiane von Degenfeld, a daughter of Wilhelm Ferdinand Friedrich von Degenfeld . His son Hermann inherited his property.
