Ernst Hammer (General)
Ernst Hammer (born October 20, 1884 in Falkenau an der Eger , † December 2, 1957 in Vienna ) was a German officer , most recently lieutenant general in World War II .
Life
Hammer served as an officer in the First World War in the army of the Austro-Hungarian Empire . In the Wehrmacht, Hammer led, among other things, the 75th Infantry Division as commander in World War II .
