Ernst Hesmert

Ernst Hesmert (* in the 19th century; † 1912 at the earliest ) was a German painter and illustrator from the Düsseldorf School .

Life

Hesmert, a painter and draftsman who lived in Düsseldorf around 1900 , became known for panoramas that show port, industrial and hotel facilities from a bird's eye view . He is considered an industrial and commissioned painter for companies that wanted to present themselves with these views for advertising purposes . The last known pictures he created date from February 1912.
